Customer Loyalty Program (CLP) Terms and Conditions
- Overview
The Customer Loyalty Program (CLP) is designed to reward eligible clients with opportunities to receive filing fee discounts and other prizes through a prize wheel promotion. Participation in the CLP is subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.
- Definition of “Tax Season”
For the purposes of the Customer Loyalty Program, “tax season” is defined as the period beginning on January 1 and ending on April 30 of the same calendar year. This period coincides with the standard timeframe in which the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) accepts and processes individual income tax returns for the prior tax year.
- Prize Wheel Spin Per Tax Return
- Each eligible tax return is entitled to one (1) spin of the prize wheel.
- Married Filing Jointly (MfJ) taxpayers are considered one filing entity and are therefore entitled to one spin of the prize wheel per jointly filed tax return.
- Separate tax returns for individuals filing as Single, Head of Household, or Married Filing Separately (MFS) are each eligible for one spin, provided they meet all other eligibility criteria.
- Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the CLP prize wheel promotion, clients must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Email Address: Clients must have a valid email address on file. If emails are reported as spam, bounce, or the client unsubscribes, eligibility is forfeited.
- Consecutive Tax Filing History: Clients must file with our company for at least one consecutive tax year. Any break in consecutive years restarts the qualification process.
- Good Standing: Clients must not owe any partial (5% or more) or unpaid filing fees from previous tax years.
- Residency and Age Requirements: Clients must be legal residents of the United States and at least 18 years of age.
- No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to participate in the CLP prize wheel promotion. Making a purchase or filing a tax return with our company does not increase the odds of winning. Each participant has an equal chance of winning a prize.
- Prize Descriptions and Approximate Retail Value (ARV)
- The prize wheel includes numbers from 00–46, each corresponding to a filing fee discount or other prize.
- Discounts may be either a percentage or dollar amount off the filing fee. All numbers correspond to a prize.
- Some numbers may also include additional prizes provided by third-party sponsors.
- The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of each prize will be disclosed prior to the spin. The total ARV of all prizes combined will also be made available.
- Odds of Winning
The odds of winning any prize on the prize wheel are based on the equal distribution of prizes across the wheel. The odds of winning a specific prize are 1 in 47 (2.13%), as the wheel contains 47 equally weighted segments.
- Methodology for Claiming Prizes
- To claim a prize, clients must complete their prize wheel spin during the defined tax season.
- The prize wheel must complete at least one full counter-clockwise rotation. Clients may not make contact with the wheel while it is spinning, and the wheel pegs must not be touched or manipulated.
- Clients are responsible for presenting their validated Customer Loyalty Card to redeem discounts or perks associated with any prize.
- Malfunction Clause
In the event of a malfunction or mechanical issue with the prize wheel, the company reserves the right to:
- Void the affected spin and allow the client to re-spin after the issue is resolved, or
- Substitute an equivalent prize at the company’s discretion.
The company is not liable for malfunctions beyond its control.
- Winner Verification Process
All prize winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. The company reserves the right to request proof of identity, residency, and any other information necessary to confirm eligibility. Failure to provide requested documentation within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.

Requests for the Winners List must be received no later than May 31 of the current calendar year. Please allow 4–6 weeks for processing.
- General Conditions
By participating in the CLP, participants agree to and are bound by these Terms and Conditions. Participants also consent to the use of their name, photograph, and/or likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
By participating, participants agree to release Mangum Tax, its employees, agents, affiliates, and program administration partners from any and all liability for loss, damage, or injury in connection with receiving, owning, using, or misusing any prize or program materials.
The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances or any factors that affect the integrity of the program.
